Gourmet Restaurant Julien Fouin has teamed up with two of his colleagues, Paul and Massimo, to open Cocotte et Cocozza, an upscale Italian neobistro and pizzeria in Lyon, where everything is modernized and home-made. The deceptive simplicity of the plates conceals a real gastronomic culture, a thorough knowledge and sourcing of products, know-how and dressings in tune with the times. The youthfulness and bonhomie of the staff immediately make the place friendly, convivial and gourmet. The antipasti are worked like little jewels, the pizzas made from stone-ground wheat can easily compete in the top 3 best pizzas in Lyon, and the tiramisu has quickly become a must-try.
