Chef's Restaurant Serge Ghoukassian, in addition to being a Rhône wine expert, is first and foremost an innkeeper. He's the one who welcomes you with warmth and commitment, the one who makes you experience a moment of natural empathy that you'll remember, the one who advises you on the menu and the cellar with the pleasure of sharing. He opens his home and his heart to you for a slice of Carpentras, fleeting yet memorable. The €39 menu is a good choice, with half-cooked trout from Isle sur la Sorgue glazed with soy and Ventoux cherry, low-temperature veal shank, eggplant caviar and bell pepper coulis, or risotto of Sault petit épeautre and vegetables of the moment, ending with Vaucluse peach soup and chocolate ganache... With this, anything you like, from the finest quilles de châteauneuf to côte-rôtie, not forgetting hermitages. Good choice by the glass from all regions.
