At opening time (5:30 p.m.), you'll have to queue to get a table, as places are at a premium. Otherwise, we wait and when a table opens up, what a delightful aperitif purely from Nice. A few slices of socca, a pissaladière, a glass of rosé, on the terrace if the weather permits - and it often does - is an essential part of any stay in Nice. The house is well known, and the welcome and service are dynamic, smiling and efficient, just a stone's throw from the port in this lively neighborhood.
