Gault&Millau's review 2026

The climb up to Castagniers is well worth it, but at the top, what a reward the panoramic view over the whole Nice region! The air is mild and the house very welcoming at Michel's, an ardent defender of his terroir and some fine local recipes: grilled peppers and charcuterie, ravioli with daube, homemade lasagne, tripe à la niçoise... The Niçois menu at €33.50 is a good option, finishing with tiramisu or chocolate mousse.
