Gourmet Restaurant Over the years, Georges has become more of a tourist than a truly authentic French neighborhood restaurant, but it's still a pleasure to decipher and savor the handwritten menu, a museau vinaigrette, an egg mayonnaise, an entrecôte à la moelle or a roasted kidney that's a little overcooked, but deserving and the madeleine de Proust of many a neighborhood faithful.
