A well-established restaurant on the ground floor of the Hôtel des Postes, in the Neustadt neighborhood. It’s a remarkable place, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which you can explore while visiting the brasserie, where the kitchen offers a market-inspired menu that’s a safe bet. The dishes are well-executed, including an egg with mayonnaise, chorizo, and peas; a seafood paella with shrimp, mussels, and gilthead sea bream; a beef stew with onions and sesame; sautéed noodles with vegetables; a moist Valrhona chocolate cake, and vanilla custard. Also worth trying is the seafood buffet, featuring a platter of shellfish and oysters.
