Chef's Restaurant This fine restaurant in a village that has grown considerably over the years is one of the canton's most solid references. Mathieu Chartron has taken over his father's stoves, bringing his youth and past experience to the table to offer a solid, contemporary menu in which the finest produce, quite classically worked, plays the leading role in recipes that are renewed from time to time. In this bourgeois atmosphere, no expense is spared to live the moment as a feast, in a beautiful formula at €65, stretchable to €85 with an additional dish. After the somewhat innocuous appetizers, scallops in citrus carpaccio and, in the second course, the same scallops, grilled, in their shell with a parisienne of vegetables, carrot and celery; the veal shank melts well with the crispy sweetbread, petit épeautre risotto and very salty chanterelles, a good port jus and mushroom cannelloni before a well-constructed dessert, pear apple quince, pear balls, fairly classic and tasteful. Attentive, well-coordinated service, which doesn't let itself get overwhelmed despite the crowds, wisely classic cellar, with a good Rhône presence...
