Gault&Millau's review2025
On the banks of the Loire, some twenty kilometers north of Andrézieux, this family-run establishment, opened in 1945, has weathered the decades with serenity, and is now run by Hervé Crozier and his wife Françoise. The table is well appointed for its classic but reliable decor, and for the chef's local dishes, which give priority to short circuits and seasonal produce. The menu is as fresh and authentic as ever, with rabbit terrine, pike-perch with basil cream, fillet of beef with Bordelaise sauce, and quail fricassee with Madeira jus. Friendly service.
