Gault&Millau's review 2026

The name, well known in the region, is still synonymous with good food in an evolved tradition. Christian Aveline, after all these years, knows his clientele well, and they return his attention with regular visits to this attractive contemporary dining room in a side street away from the center. The menu is clear and mixes genres with authority and knowledge, satisfying a wide range of cravings: samoussas and shrimp fritters, frogs' legs with garlic and parsley cream, foie gras poached in red wine, smoked sausage rougail Réunion-style, veal sirloin with Roquefort. Classic desserts, a reasonable bill for the menu-card at €38, and a well-stocked Languedoc wine cellar.
