A few years ago, Gilles Tournadre (Gill, 5 toques d'Or) was lucky enough to win the concession to this unique venue, at the foot of Saint-Maclou, in a historic building with galleries, beams and ancient stone. He has set up a contemporary brasserie, blending bourgeois and contemporary cuisine. On the terrace, on the patio or in the beautiful building with its upstairs dining room, you can pick and choose the ideas of the moment, such as the terrine of beef cheek with foie gras, the daily special of veal with leeks, the ever-indulgent chocolate tart or strawberry soup. The service is professional and dedicated, and the range of wines on offer is serious, with a decent selection by the glass.
