Chef's Restaurant Like a replica of Laguiole's grand house, the Soulages museum, with its studied shade of rusty cargo, is next door to the delicious café run by the Bras family, unquestionably one of the town's finest restaurants. Before or after you've had your fill of black emotions, the comfort of this fine regional and natural cuisine is a blessing: pointed cabbage with kasha ventresca and grilled buckwheat, falette of lamb from Greffeuille, grilled neck confit with bulgur asparagus and spiced jus, black sesame cookie, mango brunoise with armagnac ganache for a lunch that's as original as it is successful, with this €43 menu. Mioula's marcillac is €5 a glass.
