Gault&Millau's review2026
In downtown Rodez, adjacent to the Soulages museum, Café Bras opens its large dining room only for lunch on weekdays and Saturday evenings. The metal and leather furniture is reminiscent of the museum's rusty exterior, while the view over the Aveyron valley offers a peaceful setting. Café de la maison Bras offers a €43 menu, which changes according to the market. This lunchtime: young leeks and mullet gravlax, followed by a gourmet dish: melting rack of pork with ears, feet and tail sauce, and roasted quince. The roasted and raw apple dessert, with cinnamon cookie and thick cream mousse, is a perfect extension of these autumnal flavors. The wine list, with some forty references, puts the spotlight on the South-West. A young, professional and smiling team.
