This Cabane is holding its own, and customers are not mistaken, as the quality-price-indulgence ratio is spot on. The chef offers a well-performing menu-card for €44: the snail and pig's trotter fricassee with oyster mushroom tombée and wild herbs is naughty and gourmet; the snacked cuttlefish breasts are accompanied by mafaldine pasta bursting with shellfish bisque and refreshed with a salad of wild herbs. The pineapple, coconut, lime and light meringue "hedgehog" tart finishes the meal on a tangy note. Gourmet, carefully prepared, generous cuisine for a reasonable price, with relaxed service and a relevant choice of wine, including by the glass.
