Gault&Millau's review

12.5/20
Gourmet Restaurant It has to be said that, despite the strength of tourism in Quiberon, good restaurants are surprisingly few and far between. Brume is one of them, and even if it's not quite in the town center, you'll go there without hesitation, sometimes from afar, to find Vincent's good ideas and Emmanuelle's excellent service. The food is modern, intelligent and exudes good taste. The clientele reflects this: gourmets who seek and find, and who return knowingly. The style remains bistro-style, with a clear intention to keep things simple without being simplistic, resulting in a delightful market plate. These include grilled octopus with the roundness of a corn purée and the twist of a salsa verde, roasted monkfish with white asparagus, pak choï, nori kadaïf and hollandaise sauce, roasted veal steak, jus, fregola sarda and roasted celery, almond and hazelnut tartlet, pistachio ganache and orange marmalade. For those with a sweet tooth, the lobster menu at €55 is well worth the detour. A fine cellar with a choice of sparkling wines from Marnes blanches, montlouis-sur-loire from Lise and Bertrand Jousset, beaujolais from Thévenet and burgundy from Fanny Sabre, loire-anjou from Nicolas Réau, côtes-du-rhône from Gramenon and Maxime-François Laurent, and savoie from domaine Giachino.
