Gourmet Restaurant It's a trip back in time and a real little Gallic village that still holds out against the invaders, loving fine French traditions and the taste of the old-fashioned bistro. The venerable establishment, which opened its doors in 1925, has scarcely touched the interior, nor the menu for that matter, which features all the standards in the repertoire, from all-you-can-eat herring fillets and rattes du Touquet, to hard-boiled egg tartare and mimosa eggs, escargots au beurre persillé, sole meunière and skate wing à la grenobloise, vol-au-vent de ris de veau aux morilles et jeunes pousses d'épinard, tête de veau à la crème ravigote, andouillette 5A à la moutarde et frites. Desserts in the same spirit: vanilla crème brûlée, paris-brest, champagne marc ice cream.
