In the midst of all the neo-bistro addresses popping up all over Marseilles, this bistro is a real delight, with its authentic atmosphere full of simplicity. Guillaume Maugain and his team have set up this table with an obvious naturalness, in this way of receiving which breathes enthusiasm, these timeless recipes which make it the ideal cantine, reasonable prices and total good humor. We're already enjoying a superb cellar, with some 6,000 bottles that are the real treasure of the store, and a slate by Englishman Robert Shipley, where you can indulge yourself with croquettes of pig's head and trotter, an exemplary sausage-purée from Aveyron, an appealing sautéed chicken chasseur, kale and rice pilaf, or a custard brownie. Friendly service.
