It's a fine family story in Prats-de-Mollo, a 3* hotel-restaurant where Denis Visellach's grandmother worked, before he took over in 1986. Since then, it's been one of the best places to stay and eat in the area: an opportunity to sample a sought-after regional cuisine, which the chef brings up to date with the seasons. A unique menu is available at €38. Well-matched cellar.
