Following on from the success of their pizzeria Bella Vita at 4 place Renet, Luisa and Anita Cossu have created the Italian restaurant of the same name, already recognized as one of the region's finest home-cooked restaurants. In fact, they have been awarded the "Eccellenze Italiane" prize, which recognizes the best defenders of Italy's gastronomic heritage (only a dozen establishments in France have received this distinction). At the heart of this success are a host of homemade delights, including arancini, fried calamari, beef tagliata, pizzas, lasagne and delicious pastas with gourmet sauces. The inimitable "croustimoelleuse" pizza dough, recognizable by its puffy edges, is made from Italian flours and kneaded by hand before resting for at least 12 hours. They also enjoy using Italian cured meats and cheeses, as well as local produce.
