Gault&Millau's review 2026

On the south shore of Lake Annecy, opposite Talloires, Brice and Élodie Collon, who chose their name as an acrostic for their initials, run this wood-panelled inn with passion and a sense of welcome and sharing. A wide choice, a varied menu that gives pride of place to regional produce, while leaving the door open to the modern: game terrine, semi-salted mackerel with creamy celery-parsnip dashi broth, trout confit polenta chestnuts crispy watercress, guinea fowl in stuffed cabbage cromesquis tarragon spice cajun potato. A good chocolate dessert, an attractive lunch menu at €25.
