A stone's throw from his Anne de Bretagne restaurant, Mathieu Guibert (Anne de Bretagne, 4 toques) opens his bistrot marin with a lovely ocean view. His iodized menu is remarkable for the quality of its products, highlighted in well-constructed plates; after savoring the famous boucots (small gray shrimp), the red tuna is served in two courses, accompanied by a delicate mayonnaise sauce with lemon and capers; trout fillets are smoked and preserved in a tangy sauce, and zucchini is accompanied by a paella emulsion; desserts are on a par with this blueberry tartlet, sage chantilly and blueberry sorbet. The wine list invites you to discover some of the finest addresses for Nantais and Loire wines; the team is always ready to listen to its customers, in a very convivial atmosphere.
