The idea of getting lost in the countryside to discover an inspiring place turned towards nature and serenity, that's what chef Grégoire Rousseau recently proposed north of Nontron. His promise is to share a cuisine based on meticulously selected local and seasonal produce, worked in a creative and refined way, in a renovated place with a chic country atmosphere. You'll enjoy a discovery menu with a choice of bistro options for lunch or gastro options for dinner and weekends, always focusing on quality and local produce, such as white asparagus with Neuvic caviar, herbs from the chef's own garden, watercress, nettle and Scots pine emulsion, smoked sturgeon, potatoes, mushrooms and wild garlic jus, pork belly with new vegetables and tarragon jus. The dessert of strawberries, vanilla mousse and fennel, accompanied by fresh goat's cheese sorbet and Tchuli pepper, rounds off the meal in style. The short wine list favours the South-West, without forgetting other regions.
