Gault&Millau's review2026
Benjamin Bajeux's historic address endures, and this pretty house in the center of Wambrechies is the main rendezvous for gourmets. The chef now navigates between his two establishments in Wambrechies and Tourcoing, striving to master the quality of his dishes. The €40 lunch menu is efficient: mushroom cappuccino with whisky caramel from Wambrechies, cod with Bercy sauce and a squash variation, before finishing with the seasonal gourmet plate featuring three portions of different desserts, such as this crazy clementine, apple clafoutis and Benjamin croquant, a homemade dessert with two chocolates. A surprise menu at €60 is also available for those who wish to accompany the fine selection of wines. Professional, efficient service.
