Chef's Restaurant Agathe Richou and Camille Lacome have been going from strength to strength since they set up shop in 2022 in the small port of Locmalo. The first visual impression of the austere, dark slate-clad building is instantly erased once through the door. The room manager's warm, distinguished welcome, coupled with the bright, simple, hushed elegance of the place, win you over. Camille's mastery of technique is second to none, and she never strays too far from carefully sourced produce. Here, the cuisine is never too formal. It's natural, precise and so light. The marine immersion begins with magnificent scallops from a dive, combined with a few fresh cockles that delicately reinforce the iodized breath. A lemony butter gently whips up the ensemble. Next, the iodine is again present with small mussels that marry so well with sole enhanced by a juniper cabbage infusion. A very delicate combination. Fabrice Le Meur's superb pigeon takes pride of place! A condiment of black olives, beet and treviso combines perfectly with the plump little beast. The cooking juices, reminiscent of "lièvre à la royale", are linked to blood and chocolate. Powerful and well-balanced, it's sure to please. Then Agathe enters the scene with a baba based on citrus fruits, in particular kumquat (candied and stewed). A moment of intense sweetness with an absolutely light vanilla cream. An invigorating sorbet with clementine and yuzu liqueur is the perfect refresher. A wine list that reflects a real interest in "the thing": Richard Leroy's Anjou, savennières from domaine Aux Moines and domaine Laureau, saumur Château Yvonne, savoie Belluard, alsace Kirrembourg, Boxler, Zusslin...
