Gault&Millau's review2025
In the heart of the Berry region, this pretty ivy-covered house welcomes diners with its subdued lighting and harmony of red and wood, for an atmosphere that's a bit like a hunting lodge, both traditional and warm. Véronique Gaulon's beautiful country inn is the perfect place to reminisce about the pleasures of our heritage, with fricassee of Berry snails with summer vegetables on olive sablé, skate wing with lemon confit butter and petit épeautre risotto with ratatouille, sweetbread medallions with sage cream, sweet potato mousseline and eggplant fritters. Berry wines are recommended.
