Gourmet Restaurant Anne Landes' hotel-restaurant, a century-old institution on the outskirts of Foix, is the place to stop for a generous and much-needed break, to rediscover a taste for conviviality and sharing. Above all, it's a place for happy people, live music and pretty plates on the slate to go with the drinks: fine eggplant and ricotta tart, mustard, honey and zucchini tian chicken, beef and bell pepper stew, Lebanese rose and redcurrant cream. Smiling service.
