Jean-Charles Fagot's stone house is the perfect place to rediscover the simple pleasures of tradition. Located in a small village north of Chagny, the atmosphere is that of insiders who know how to find the right pleasures here, in complete complicity. You'll be tempted to try the restaurant's must-try dishes, with their emphasis on local produce, such as a terrine with snails and parsley juice, a cheek confit with snails, a sirloin steak with Epoisses sauce, or a hot soufflé with sloe. Formulas are competitive, with two offers at €24 and €33. A fine selection of wines in the cellar, with a logical regional emphasis.
