At the start of the pilgrimage to the Solutré rock, Sylvie and Bertrand Maillard's little inn is the perfect place to fill up on regional, affordable cuisine. The dishes are traditional, and enjoyed in a popular family atmosphere. The €36 menu is well-stocked, with asparagus puff pastry with mousseline sauce, cod steak with parsley cream, veal kidneys and port jus. Classic desserts.
