We never miss an opportunity to express our high regard for Mickael Montferrat, winner of the 2022 Tradition d’Aujourd’hui Award. Here, he runs a true country inn—a former stagecoach stop that has retained its rustic charm—promising an experience that is as authentic as it is generous. The menu focuses on the essentials, featuring eggs in red wine sauce, house-made pâté croûte, frogs’ legs with parsley, beef cheek confit (marinated overnight) with yuzu jus, and a Valrhona chocolate fondant with a tangy, molten center.
