For those who don't want to mingle with the crowds of onlookers, this winstub, cleverly tucked away from the teeming underbelly of Petite France, nevertheless offers a good vision of Alsatian tradition. The menu is right on target, with Alsatian-style snails, three-meat baeckeofe, garnished sauerkraut, braised shank on a bed of sauerkraut, and kougelhopf glazed with gewurztraminer marc. Friendly welcome.
