Gourmet Restaurant One of those little French sweets, a vast family home in the provinces, a past of great bourgeois cuisine that we love so much, with lobster andouillette, zucchini stuffed with rabbit and pig or turbot in shellfish broth, at prices that remain very affordable and with a very serious wine list. Nestled on the banks of the Saône near the Colombier lake, this half-ginguette, half-traditional house, between the Dombes and Beaujolais regions, is made for everyone: families with children who can run about in safety, couples in love inspired by the location and décor, businessmen for service and tranquillity. Frédéric Côte, who has worked with Chauveau, Blanc and Boulud, emerges from his kitchen at the end of service to check on the work he has done, between priesthood and pride. His wife accompanies him, and it's touchingly sincere.
