Description
Benjamin Salgado has opened this restaurant, whose name is a nod to his origins. His cuisine pays homage to local produce and the seasons, and is simple, easy to follow, gourmet, with occasional touches of originality. The chuck is braised using a technique that brings a new taste, a melting or crispiness according to the Chef's whim. Garnishes vary according to the season and the Chef's imagination. Zucchinis, porcini mushrooms, celery, cauliflower... the perfect egg is plural at A Comer, and customers come back for more! A pastry chef by trade, Benjamin Salgado also works on gourmet desserts like the honey financier (from a local beekeeper). As for the wine list, it gives pride of place to independent winemakers. It's a great way to discover new nuggets. "I like to keep things fresh so as not to fall into a rut. People come back and never find the same menu!" confides the manager, who also offers a private room for events.
