Gault&Millau's review

Selected The Burrus family, owners of Le Crocodile and Le 1741, have taken over this winstub, whose photogenic façade overlooks the bustling Rue du Maroquin. In the long room decorated with regional-style wood panelling, traditional Alsatian or bourgeois cuisine is served without surprises by a somewhat approximate service. On the €39.90 menu: foie gras that's a little brittle, sauerkraut with three fish - salmon, haddock and halibut - that's a little overcooked, or fleischkiechle, satisfying meat cakes served in an abundant sauce. Last but not least, the charlotte with chestnut mousse was just right, and the apple strudel was a little thick, but served with homemade vanilla ice cream.
