Gourmet Restaurant In the Boulingrin district of Paris, Christophe Mertes' cuisine is reassuring, with solid foundations and well-worked products in an eclectic à la carte menu that respects seasonality. The Chinese soup with shrimp ravioli is tasty, and the monkfish slices melt in the mouth with their pan-fried chanterelle mushrooms and beurre blanc. The wine list is made up of well-known names, but would benefit from opening up to smaller estates, and the menu has a certain identity in a region rich in opportunities for discovery.
