A breeze from the Vosges mountains and the Alsace plain blows into the pink city, and regulars are delighted. It brings with it the aroma of authentic tartes flambées, available in pizzeria-style variations, baeckeoffe "de belle-maman" and well-stuffed sauerkraut, in three versions. The range is somewhat limited, given the importance of Alsatian cuisine, but the effort is worthwhile and the execution is of a high standard.
