Probably one of the best value-for-money lunch spots in Toulouse, in a buddy house atmosphere that's a little bobo but still natural. You'll come across people as chic as the working-class Toulouse crowd, here to enjoy home cooking based on fresh produce: smooth butternut velouté, Roquefort and sablé for lunch and mache; roast chicken on carrot and celery purée, a simple, sincere version of the classic that warms up winter, and slightly less seductive desserts like poached pears with hot chocolate. Wine list of sommelier's favorites, attentive service.
