A good house with a family atmosphere, a smiling hotel owner who knows how to look after his customers, whether regulars or not, in a relaxed, efficient manner. Hard work and commitment to the product on every plate, chosen without too much technique to let the taste express itself fully: orange-coriander and green-apple ceviche (more of a carpaccio) with sea bream, where the fruit and its acidity outshine the fish; guinea fowl with crayfish and herbed mushroom tart, with good poultry; citrus baba and Trois citrus from the Merlet house (a triple sec produced near here), a pleasant dessert on a pretty presentation. A classic cellar built around the wine trade and good wine merchant advice, with correct prices.
