Chef's Restaurant Just a two-minute walk from Gare de Lyon, it's not unusual to see travelers with suitcases mingling with regulars at Giovanni Passerini, which has long enjoyed an aura that was richly deserved. Today, we're more into the everyday, the plates are well turned out and delivered at a good pace and respectable price, the vitello tonnato in measured quantities is very good, the tagliatelle with lamb ragout from Aveyron (more pasta than ragout) is pleasant, the wine by the glass, preferably plain, has that little taste of cider that pleases so many. The service is assertive, more friendly and natural for some, no doubt more recent arrivals, with the predominantly Italian team, both in the kitchen and the dining room, bringing sunshine and authenticity.
