In this lovely village on the banks of the Dordogne, chef Bruno Marien champions fine garden cuisine, permaculture-raised produce and an ethical locavore approach. Plates abound with Périgord flavors, from terrine of semi-cooked duck foie gras and mango chutney, Dordogne eel and beet, duck tournedos with Périgueux sauce, roasted veal sweetbreads with hazelnut butter, herbaceous strawberry sorbet, Nabirat garriguette and pistachio cream with tagetes. Menus range from €35 to €90.
