Chef's Restaurant Monsieur P is a reflection of the city of Lyon. A bourgeois address, elegant and sincere. An exquisite place to sign a business contract, or spend some quality time together. After a very good start in 2017, his loyal customers logically expect something else from this talented young chef: commitment and commitment. Florent Poulard is well aware of this, and on each of his menus: he's trying to shake things up, and to finally offer - something else - than those beautiful, generous and unctuous meats. For starters, we'd like to highlight these Marennes d'Oleron oysters with kale and shallot, as well as this octopus with hibiscus. A complex exercise in style, but a little too intellectualized. The salmon bomlo curcuma is well-polished, but you'll no doubt remain jealous of your table neighbors and their well-stocked plates. The sweetbreads, trumpets of death and black shallot look magnificent, no doubt about it... As for desserts, there are some great finds like this black sesame and lime chocolate tart. Good and well-balanced. Both the food and wine are well served, and Thibaut Derhé's advice is excellent.
