Gourmet Restaurant Franck Bellanger and Matthieu Nadjar, whom we knew and loved at Le Cornichon, in the 14ᵉ, have stayed on the Left Bank, setting up shop in the chic Latin Quarter, just a stone's throw from the Sorbonne and the Collège de France. Different location, inevitably different clientele, and still very well turned-out cuisine, but no doubt a little less exciting than in the great days of Le Cornichon, lighter, more consensual too. But let's not pretend to deny ourselves the pleasure (especially at this very reasonable price), with the risotto-melting chard, chorizo and parmesan, the Gragnano pasta with duck confit and tomato ragout, and the original, gourmet dessert combining lemon cream, crunchy pieces of vanilla sucrine and toasted pine nuts. Complete wine cellar offering a varied choice by the glass, smooth service.
