Chef's Restaurant Julien Gautier perfectly steers the ship chartered by Matthieu Viannay some ten years ago. In a traditional-actual spirit, with a strong emphasis on work well done, the chef offers a cuisine that's on the mark, gourmet and contemporary: ballottine of frozen pig shank and pig's trotters in salad, steamed trout fillet with sorrel and watercress, crayfish sauce, tarte fine crème d'amandes framboise coulis and tarragon ice cream. The full sequence at €48 is seductive with such a wide choice, the cellar is quite classic and the lunch menu is €32. And after your meal, you might consider a jog in the nearby Parc de la Tête d'Or.
