Olivier and Carlyse's farm is a little corner of paradise, a stone-and-beam period house on the banks of the Dordogne, where the pleasures of the terroir are rendered with great technique and flair. The menu is a good local formula that demonstrates real savoir-faire, with the recommended duo of semi-cooked and pan-fried foies gras, port reduction with figs, the beautiful pink Périgord trout and pan-fried fresh vegetables, the classic duck breast, Périgord honey sauce and garden rosemary, a regressive hazelnut moelleux and chocolate-speculoos fondant heart.
