It's a charming mansion set in its own garden, just a few minutes from the ocean. Nicolas Coutand offers fine cuisine in two formats, bistro on the one hand and gastro on the other, for evenings and weekends, with a €114 menu that allows him to roll out his full palette: langoustine à la flamme, peppers, zucchini and basil, Vendée duck, pâtisson and truffle juice, chocolate, raspberry and buckwheat in this complete seven-course offering. Bistro-style, the same high standards with a simpler cuisine that nevertheless offers a wide choice, for €39.
