Remarkable Restaurant Owned for three generations by the Fagegaltier family, this institution in the center of the village of Belcastel is also famous for its castle. Nicole, in charge of the stoves, gives us a taste of the idea of a warm and welcoming inn, with dishes that are generous but not without finesse. The chef doesn't forget her terroir, with her petit épeautre au rodez accompanying fresh morels and asparagus from Saint Cyprien, or her grilled duck foie gras with rhubarb jus, where the fatness of the liver is well balanced by the acidity of the rhubarb. The Gréfeuille lamb is perfectly cooked and its jus is a delight. The fine Aveyron cheese platter and strawberry desserts round off the meal. A fine wine list covering all the regions of France, and dedicated service.
