It’s not exactly next door—it’s north of Avenue du Général de Gaulle, just past Marcq-en-Barœul… But food lovers aren’t deterred by the distance when it comes to savoring Christophe Hagnerelle’s inspired creations. This disciple of Robuchon and Boyer possesses exceptional technical skill, which he puts to use in a cuisine that’s constantly reinventing itself. There’s no à la carte menu here, just weekly menus that give free rein to his imagination: a starter of blue lobster and lisette clams, with a delicate jelly and shell broth; a pink sea bream with olive oil and pink grapefruit; a grilled calf’s head with lace-like potato shavings… Elisabeth Hagnerelle provides excellent service management.
