Gault&Millau's review2025
In the heart of the Coteaux-du-Lyon vineyards, some twenty minutes from the city, this large stone building and its park are an ideal haven of peace for weekend getaways, between relaxation and gourmet delights. The hotel's restaurant takes care of its services, offering a bourgeois experience that's not too shabby, with well-mannered service and market recipes of exemplary execution. The tone is a little stiff, but the dishes are full of mischief, from a gratin of Royans ravioli with cheese sauce and shredded bellota ham, to the famous frogs' legs in parsley sauce, or an autumn moelleux with chestnut heart. Excellent cellar accompaniment.
