Gault&Millau's review2026
In this former XVIᵉ century mill on the Loir River, chef Camille Constantin invites us on a nostalgic journey, with dishes reinvented with talent and precision. His beef bourguignon, simmered as it should be, is melting, chanterelles breathe of undergrowth on a bed of tagliatelle and reduced jus after sausage-flesh lasagne, lifted by a Thai broth that brings a great spicy freshness; we finish as classically with a mille-feuilles with a pastry of crisp finesse, very well constructed with a compote of exotic fruits in the middle of creamy lemon, raspberry sorbet on a crumble bringing a touch of lightness. The cellar book is voluminous, rich in vintages and Austrian wines dear to the chef's wife. A pleasant trip back in time at an affordable price, with a daily market menu at around 32€.
