Gault&Millau's review2026
Nestled in the heart of the Normandy countryside, Jean’s Mill is a true little paradise—an old watermill tucked away on a gently rolling estate blanketed in greenery. Time passes more slowly here; over a meal, you can enjoy a genuine moment away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The team here creates a well-executed regional cuisine with a few modern twists to breathe new life into the dishes, such as stuffed oysters with shiitake duxelle and champagne sabayon; monkfish with risotto and chorizo in a vermouth sauce; and a cut of beef, baby potatoes, and morel sauce; and a dark chocolate and white chocolate ice cream pairing.
