Chef's Restaurant Nicolas Bottero has really revitalized this rather drab corner west of Aix-en-Provence. It's all the more pleasant to stop by the roadside, as the best is to be found inside: an elegant dining room, increasingly professional service, good energy and a chef who really masters his subject, offering his menus an excellent price-pleasure ratio: butternut with tangy chanterelles and Grenoble walnuts, lightly grilled Mediterranean tuna piperade with sweet peppers, sliced ham jus with garlic oil, Dombes duckling roasted fillet, thighs confit in cromesquis, eggplant cannelloni with thyme, fig dessert with a touch of fennel for an impeccable sequence at €85. An interesting cellar of regional wines, with some fine finds.
