Chef's Restaurant Ideally positioned on the beach, this is one of the most interesting addresses in the area, even if it is less of a surprise today than it was in its early days, providing the essentials with well-modernized regional cuisine, from the sea as well as the land. The highly professional, well-oiled service does its part for tourists won over by the setting and the terrace overlooking the ocean. Careful attention is paid to detail right from the start, with a fresh starter of tomatoes with beef heart, white tuna, vitello tonnato sauce, anchovies with salt and fried capers, well-prepared hake returning from fishing, peas from Villenave, orange, cardamom, creamy fumet, squid ink crisp, and a highly original dessert of beer and peanuts, creamy coffee, cocoa financier, sorbet and beer gel. An extensive wine list, with interesting choices, makes for a pleasurable experience at around €50.
