Opened just over a year ago with a new decor, the table has been given a new lease of life and has carved out a fine reputation for itself, which a contemporary, studied interior goes some way to explaining. With its colors, vintage furniture, pretty greenery and fifties spirit, the restaurant has a contemporary, trendy feel, which is logically matched by the traditional dishes, in keeping with the bistro revival. The chef brings his ideas to life with an appealing sense of graphic design, bringing up-to-the-minute dishes such as zucchini velouté with curry and coconut, chicken liver salad with sherry vinegar, haddock fillet with shrimp bisque, beef carrots and profiteroles.
